From Saturn Returns to Second Chances: ‘Everything Is the Best’ Explores How to Use Astrology to Navigate Life’s Chaotic Moments

Astrology isn’t just about horoscopes or birth charts—it’s a mirror for what’s happening inside us. On Everything Is the Best, host Pia Baroncini sat down with astrologer and intuitive guide Meghan Rose to talk about how planetary patterns can help us navigate life’s biggest pivots, from career changes to breakups to that nagging feeling that something’s “off.”

Meghan believes our charts can act like a personal GPS—if we’re willing to listen. She doesn’t claim the stars control your fate; she suggests they reveal patterns you might already be feeling but can’t quite name.

Having recently packed up her life in Los Angeles and moved to Rome in the middle of her Saturn Return, Meghan knows firsthand how astrology can serve as both a comfort and a compass for major life changes.

Whether you’re a full-blown astro follower or just star-curious, this episode offers something unexpected: a framework for trusting yourself when logic alone isn’t enough.

“Work with the planets, not against them”

Meghan says astrology isn’t about predicting your fate—it’s about learning the energetic weather so you know when to grab an umbrella. Instead of pushing through resistance, Meghan suggests working with what’s happening in the sky. If Mercury’s in retrograde, use it to review and realign instead of launching something new. If Saturn’s holding up a mirror, ask what lesson you’re supposed to be learning instead of fighting the reflection.

Your Saturn return isn’t a crisis—it’s a cosmic graduation

If your life fell apart in your late 20s or early 30s, congratulations—you’ve experienced your Saturn Return (the approximately 2.5-year period when Saturn completes its first orbit around the sun since your birth). Meghan describes it as the universe’s final exam, where you’re asked to prove what you’ve learned so far. For Rose, that meant ending an engagement, selling her belongings, and moving to Rome on a gut feeling—a major life pivot that only made sense in hindsight. “This mirror in front of my face of like, did you actually learn all of the lessons?” she tells Pia.

The discomfort turned into redirection “The beauty of a Saturn Return is that when you listen to the rules this taskmaster planet is trying to give you, it pats you on the head and says, ‘Good job, little pony.’”

So no, your Saturn Return isn’t here to punish you. It’s here to reroute you—often in a way that your soul already knew you needed. Think of as as a spiritual promotion disguised as chaos.

Using astrology to release old versions of yourself

Meghan shares a mantra that’s been guiding her lately: “My past doesn’t exist.” Not because it literally vanished, but because holding onto old versions of ourselves keeps us from showing up fully in the present moment.

“I’m such an overthinker…and can really go way too off the deep end of my own life of trying to figure it all out,” she admits. “If I just tell myself my past doesn’t exist, it sets me free.”

Astrology can help identify those turning points, too. Each planetary transit highlights where you’re being asked to evolve, whether that means closing a chapter, forgiving yourself, or simply choosing peace over analysis.

Trust your intuition, even when it makes zero sense

Pia and Meghan both agree—the universe rarely sends a memo with clear instructions. More often, it whispers through gut feelings, coincidences, or doors that suddenly swing open. For Rose, following those nudges led her to make one of the biggest leaps of her life. Even when it defied logic, she listened—and that’s how she ended up in Rome, where everything began aligning effortlessly. “Every time I’ve let go of something and been more in a flow state is when everything has come to me,” she says. Pia relates, noting how experience sharpens intuition. The more you listen, the louder it gets. Whether you call it your inner voice or divine timing, the message is the same: When your body says wait, go, or not this one, trust it.

The paradox: let go to receive

Rose describes it like tugging on a dog’s leash; the more you pull, the more resistance you create. “I just think pushing and urging stuff along makes it do the opposite,” she says.

Pia admits she’s learning this too, describing how much easier things feel when she releases the urge to plan everything five steps ahead.

Why 2026 might be your reset year

By the end of the episode, Pia and Meghan shift from the personal to the collective, looking ahead to what the stars have in store for everyone. According to Meghan, 2026 won’t be a year of chaos—it’ll be a year of catching our breath. With heavy-hitting planets like Pluto and Saturn moving into new signs, we’re being handed what she calls a “bench moment”—time to rest, recalibrate, and reconnect with what actually matters.

“We get a little bit of a break,” Meghan explains. “It’s not going to be as high intensity…we get that opportunity to recharge so we can go back out even stronger.” Saturn’s final run through Pisces will help us dissolve outdated emotional patterns, while Pluto’s position in Aquarius continues to expose systems of power that no longer serve us. Together, these transits invite something rare: a global exhale.

Pia sums it up best—astrology doesn’t tell you what to do, it shows you when to lean in and when to let go. And 2026, Meghan suggests, is the perfect time to do just that.
