Bernadette Giacomazzo

Bernadette R. Giacomazzo is a Harvard University-certified editor, writer, photographer, publicist, and digital marketing specialist with more than two decades of experience in the entertainment arm of the industry. Her work has been featured in more than 100 digital and print publications, including Teen Vogue, People, Newsweek, Us Weekly, The Los Angeles Times, and The New York Post. Based in New York, Bernadette is the co-author of Swimming with Sharks: A Real World, How-To Guide to Success (and Failure) in the Business of Music (for the 21st Century), and the author of the dystopian fiction series, The Uprising, whose first book, The Gathering, is out now. In addition to releasing her poetry chapbook, Aquarius Rising, on Nightingale & Sparrow Press in December 2022, Bernadette released In Living Color: A Cultural History on Rowman & Littlefield Press in February 2023 and released The Golden Girls: A Cultural History on Rowman & Littlefield Press in August 2023, Bernadette will release Law & Order: A Cultural History on Rowman & Littlefield Press in June 2025.
