Production Coordinator

Dear Media is seeking a Production Coordinator with an entrepreneurial spirit to support the day to day needs of the Production team. This position will have hands on exposure and experience with the production process, logistics and scaling the department. This person must be able to exercise good judgment, anticipate needs, and perform in a professional and discrete manner. The ideal candidate will bring a high degree of creativity, energy, organization and passion for working with the Production team to increase personal and organizational productivity through the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support and assist the Production team on all administrative responsibilities: managing active calendars, coordinating meeting recordings, and attending live events when needed.
  • Work closely with other internal teams to manage team meeting agendas, coordinating marketing and PR efforts, assist in pulling together weekly content reports as well as monthly, quarterly and annual talent and network reports
  • Actively and reactively handle ongoing backend set up and project development, for company-wide talent
  • Act as liaison between production and PR and collect all necessary promotional materials
  • Assist with collecting and communicating show metrics and analytics
  • Help to execute the network’s cross promotional initiatives, on and off network
  • Work with Talent team on growth opportunities for shows on the network
  • Manage inbound guest pitches and collaboration opportunities
  • Help execute DM’s production projects by providing support to and meeting the deliverables assigned by the production/editing team (pulling air checks for ad spots or clips for PR)
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down in studio recordings or live events for network and network talent
  • Assist with developing and maintaining network materials: internal talent trackers, documents, and decks
  • Participate in company-wide initiatives and activities
  • Providing front desk and reception support when the office assistant is unavailable
  • Additional responsibilities as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of administrative assistant experience in a related field (i.e. Production, Post-Production)
  • Previous production or related industry experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual presentation communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all personality types and behaviors; flexible
  • Experience and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a high-volume email/workload
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented work style
  • Ability to work against deadlines
  • Ability to act professionally and, many times, with discretion and confidentiality
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and extremely organized
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Interest in podcasting, influencer marketing & social media
  • Committed to furthering individual industry knowledge and professional growth & development

  • Basic audio editing preferred
