Half Marathon Prep: My Experience with Exercise and PCOS, and Best Tips and Practices for Long Distance Training with Joey Miuccio

Episode 25: Today we are joined by my running partner and boyfriend, Joey Miuccio, as we dive into everything we did to prepare for our half marathon! In this episode, I share how I was able to prepare my body to take on a half marathon as someone who was previously diagnosed with PCOS. Through my 12-week prep plan, I was able to ease my body into long distance running without putting stress on my hormones. This was a huge win for me, since I couldn’t even run a mile without stopping in the beginning. Outside of training, there are so many beneficial components to long distance running that Joey and I share with you today.
