In this episode of the podcast, Shira re-introduces herself to listeners. With a science background and a master’s degree in clinical nutrition from NYU, Shira shares her experiences with body consciousness, being an athlete, an RD, and becoming a proud co-parent to four-year-old Oliver.

Through her studies and experience in the field, Shira realized that most people knew what to do but struggled to follow through because of various roadblocks. This insight inspired her to start food therapy, helping people identify and overcome their obstacles to make thoughtful food choices, even in stressful and busy situations. These principles and approaches are highlighted throughout the podcast. Today we want to know: what is something you’ve done or cultivated or accomplished that makes you feel proud of yourself?
