Shira’s sauces:
Shira’s peanut butter sauce:
3 tablespons olive oil
1 ½ tablespoon brown rice vin
1 ½ tablespoons coconut aminos
2 tablespoons penut butter or cashew butter
1 tsp hot toasested sesame oil
blend!
Shira’s bolognese:
¼ cup olive oil
1 onion chopped
3 carrots chopped
2 large leeks, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 portobello mushrooms, chopped
2 tablespoons apple cider vin
1 26.5 oz box crushed tomatoes
1 tsp salt
½ cup pine nuts
In a dutch oven or heavy pot heat the olive oil and throw everything but the vin, tomatoes and nuts and sautee until onions start to carmelize. Add in tomatoes and vin and sautee for 10 min and then blend, add in nuts at the end and blend thoroughly
stir-fry adapted from Cooking for the Weekend
1 ½ tablespoons toasted sesame oil
1 ½ tablespoons coconut aminos
1 tsp chilli paste
oil for pan
1 cup grated carrots
1 cup bean sprouts
tsp each of ground garlic and ginger
¾ cup cilantro
shredded chicken
½ cup scallions
1 ½ tablespoons black sesame seeds
sautee for like 5 min and assemble!!
