Gabby Bernstein’s 5-Minute Fix for When Your Manifestation Practice Feels Stuck
Jane LaCroix
If your manifesting routine feels like pushing a boulder uphill, Gabby Bernstein has a different starting point: worthiness. On Dear Gabby, she argues the real snag isn’t effort, but the quiet, stubborn belief that you don’t deserve what you want.
Instead of doubling down on hustle, Bernstein walks listeners through a five-minute EFT (tapping) sequence to release that “I’m not worthy” loop and reset the nervous system into a receptive state. Then she adds a simple, twice-a-day ritual to keep the shift from fading by lunchtime.

Name the block
Bernstein explains that most people misunderstand manifestation. “The common belief in the spiritual community—and honestly, for me for so many years—was that manifestation was all about more, more effort and more visualizing and more positive thinking,” she says. “And we think that if we just try harder and we just force the energy, then we’ll finally break through.”
But that mindset, she notes, only backfires. “It leads us to burnout. It leads us to frustration. It leads us to the exact opposite of what we’re trying to attract in our life.” The real block, Bernstein says, runs deeper. “What if the deepest block isn’t the desire itself, but a subconscious fear of not being worthy of the desire?”
She guides listeners to name that belief directly: “Instead of the issue being ‘I’m not attracting this thing,’ I think we should work with ‘I’m not worthy of what I want.’” From there, she encourages noticing where that belief sits in the body and rating its intensity “on a scale of 0 to 10.” That awareness, she says, is where real transformation begins.
The 5-minute fix
Once you’ve identified the core belief—“I’m not worthy of what I want”—Bernstein guides listeners into her five-minute tapping sequence. “EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique, brings together the cognitive benefits of therapy with the physical benefits of acupuncture,” she explains. “It helps you restore your energy by putting your body back into a parasympathetic, relaxed nervous system. That’s when we’re magnetizing and attracting.”
She describes tapping as “acupuncture and therapy combined,” using nine energy points to release stored emotions, habits, and physical tension. While tapping, you speak aloud about the issue you’re working on—“you allow yourself to emote while simultaneously tapping on the energy points.”
The sequence begins at what she calls the “karate-chop point.” Bernstein repeats: “Even though I don’t feel worthy of my desires, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”
Listeners then move through each point—eyebrow, side of the eye, under the eye, under the nose, chin, collarbone, under the arm, and top of the head—while following her words.
“I don’t feel worthy of my desires.”
“It’s hard to believe I deserve what I want.”
“I want to feel like I can achieve my desires.”
“I want to feel worthy of my desires.”
“What if I am worthy?”
After several rounds, she invites a breath and reflection. “Notice the shifts inside. Notice any energy changing in your body. Check in with yourself—where were you and where are you now?” she asks. That quick re-rating, she says, is “your spiritual proof that we can actually shift the energy in minutes.”
Make the shift stick
Bernstein emphasizes one crucial final step: keeping that new energy from fading. “You’ve released what’s blocking you,” she says. “Now I want you to ensure that that new energy sticks and just becomes the default energy.”
Her solution is what she calls the “Daily Micro-Integrity Anchor,” a short ritual to reinforce your new vibration morning and night. “The biggest mistake that people make after a powerful energetic shift just like this is failing to anchor that new energy into their daily reality,” she explains. “We go back into our old habits instantly.”
To prevent that, Bernstein tells listeners to pick one tapping point—she prefers the collarbone—and gently tap while repeating a single affirmation: “I choose to be in integrity with my manifested reality.”
She clarifies that this isn’t about revisiting the problem. “It’s about affirming the new higher vibration that you’ve created,” she says. “This is a subtle but really powerful daily reminder to your subconscious that this is my new truth…I am a magnet for what I desire.”
Practiced consistently, Bernstein says this micro-ritual “acts as a continuous energetic loop,” gently steering your energy back toward alignment. “It sends a message to the universe: I’m serious about this. I am ready to receive.”
For Bernstein, the universe always meets you at the level of your belief. “Whenever you’re releasing that stagnant energy that’s blocking you,” she adds, “you’re always creating more momentum behind your desires.”
And if there’s one message she hopes sticks, it’s this: the universe ALWAYS has your back.
