She’s been one of pop culture’s most talked-about figures for decades, but Kris Jenner still has a few things she’d like to clear up—starting with her facelift.

On the latest episode of Khloé in Wonder Land, Kris joined daughter Khloé Kardashian for an unfiltered conversation that bounced between family life, tabloid rumors, love with Corey Gamble, and the reality of living under constant public scrutiny. She’s being honest about it all, while reminding listeners that no one tells Kris Jenner’s story better than Kris Jenner herself.

Below are the highlights from the conversation, adapted from the episode.

What’s the deal with your facelift?

“Well, the headline right now is that I hate my facelift and I’m furious at my doctor, Steven Levine, which couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s a flat out lie. I love my facelift. I adore my doctor. I’m obsessed with him. One of the most talented, amazing men I’ve ever met and somebody who really puts his heart and soul into what he did for me and what he does for any other patient that he has…He’s an artist and he really does a great job with all of his patients…

….I never in a million years was going to talk about doing a facelift. I didn’t bring this to anybody’s attention. I didn’t post a picture and say, ‘Oh my God, guys, look at my facelift.

Don’t I look great?’ I was minding my own business. I flew to Paris. I went to Lauren Sánchez’s wedding shower, was having the time of my life. But then all of a sudden the media started posting all these pictures of me going, ‘Oh my gosh, look at her jawline, look at her neck, look at her this, look at her that.’ And it became sort of this crazy obsessive thing where every single person was posting about it, talking about it. There were doctors that I’ve never met before in my life that were putting my face up on a screen with like a pointer going, ‘and this is what she had done, and this is what she had done’…And Steven didn’t go into this with me, like my facelift and say, ‘I’m going to re-do every little detail of her face.’ The goal was to do a beautiful lift and give me a refresh and do a beautiful jawline, which I achieved.”

Why did you decide to address it publicly?

“There were several people that started to take credit for the work, kind of in a, you know, like, ‘Oh, I might have done that or I might not have,’ and it was kind of interesting…So I called Steven and I said, ‘Hey, this is getting so much attention and it’s really out of hand. And I’d like to just say who, you know, your name, how do you feel about that?’ And he said, ‘Well, I’m cool with it’…So we did.”

How do you feel about criticism at this stage of life?

“At 70 years old, I don’t really care what someone thinks of me. I don’t need anyone’s approval.”

What has it been like dealing with headlines for 20 years?

“We have been doing this for 20 years, so I’m no stranger to the criticism about anything; what I wear, what I say, you know, the family obviously. I have thick skin and can handle just about anything. Like everyone has a bad photo once in a while, or a bad outfit or they’re not looking their best, but you don’t need somebody to tell you you look like sh*t.  It’s not good for anybody’s mental health that would bother anyone. I think the media, you know, has this obsession of tearing people and especially women down and then now pitting them against each other, just making up these stories. Like who sits in a room at work and decides ‘let’s do a story and really, you know, zap this person.’ I just don’t understand that; but I grew up in a family where my grandmother was like, ‘If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.’”

Do you get bothered about the breakup rumors with Corey Gamble?

“Not anymore. I mean, did it bother me at the time? I think it probably bothered him more than it bothered me. I don’t know. You’d have to ask Corey.”

Would you get married again?

“No. You never know. You just never know. I’m full of surprises.”

How do you balance work and personal life?

“I work 25 hours a day. I don’t really have time to dwell on things because I’m so busy and I have such natural distractions with my real life and the things that really matter to me, my grandchildren, my children, me, my mom, CC, Corey, all of us. And I feel like I have such a full blessed life.”

What’s your final message to your haters?

“F*ck ‘em.”
