Kristin Cavallari Just Dissected Every Messy Celebrity Story You’ve Been Following

Whether it’s the Diddy trial or the Blake Lively vs Justin Baldoni lawsuit, Hollywood’s drama cup is overflowing right now. The cringe, the shock, and jaw-dropping celebrity chaos—it’s all anyone can talk about! So naturally, Kristin Cavallari invited her best friend Justin Anderson onto Let’s Be Honest to dissect the latest celebrity gossip and share some piping hot takes.

Over sushi and sake, the duo dove into everything from the Blue Origin “space” landing (air quotes very much intended) to the craziness of the Diddy trial, plus the Taylor Swift and Blake Lively drama—and the alleged blackmail that everyone is watching.

Did Katy Perry really go to space?

Cavallari kicks it off with some conspiracy theories, starting with her belief that the 1969 moon landing never happened. She’s equally skeptical about the recent Blue Origin flight that sent a few scientists and Gayle King, Lauren Sánchez, and Katy Perry to space for a few minutes. Also of note: Anderson recalls working with Katy Perry once, when he dyed her hair blonde and it started breaking—a memory that still gives him anxiety.

Anderson called out the “women empowerment” angle that the crew pushed hard: “The world feels like its own fire right now. People have it really hard, and then, you have these women going up to space for five minutes for millions of dollars. They were trying to act like it was some sort of empowerment thing, but that’s embarrassing. You sat in a spaceship with perfect hair. It completely backfired.”

Also, here’s some random insider tea: Cavallari heard you can’t go to space with breast implants. She laughs, “I don’t know if there’s any credibility to this, but I heard if you have implants, they’d burst in space. So Jeff Bezos’ wife can’t go to space—I can’t either.”

Are Taylor Swift and Blake Lively still friends?

If you have been living under a rock, lucky you! You’ve missed out on all the Its Ends With Us drama between Blake Lively and Justin BaldoniNow, somehow, Taylor Swift is involved (her song was used in the film and allegedly she even helped with casting and worked with Lively throughout the project).

Anderson, a devoted Swiftie, has strong opinions: “I think it’s such a bummer and that Taylor really does get bamboozled by bad people. I love Taylor, and I cannot stand Blake Lively. If you hear over and over that someone is an absolute nightmare, at some point, it’s going to come out. When this whole thing came out about Blake Lively, I was like ‘Oh, of course.’ Everyone is always talking about what a nightmare she is.”

There is clearly a hierarchy in Lively and Swift’s friendship—with Swift being one of the most famous women in the world. Anderson’s hot take is that the two probably were not as close as they seem. “Lively is probably kissing Taylor’s a** all the time. Everyone is going to be so nice to Taylor….The way that people treat the most famous person in the world is so wild. I think that Taylor definitely got bamboozled by Blake.”

What is actually going on with Justin Bieber?

The one celebrity headline that Cavallari has stayed up-to-date on is all the negative press surrounding Bieber. She says, “It really breaks my heart. This is the only celebrity gossip I care about. My kids love Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber. She is my girl crush.”

Cavallari is also a Selena Gomez fan and really loved her last album. “I 100 percent believe everything I read about that drama. I believe that the song, ‘How Does It Feel to Be Forgotten,’ is about the Bieber drama.”

Both agree that Bieber hasn’t been looking great lately. Cavallari says, “He does not look good. It makes me nervous. They just had a baby. Could you imagine just having a kid and then everyone is sh***** on your relationship?”

Their theory? It all connects back to Diddy. “Justin Bieber saw the ugliest part of Hollywood. When a kid is in Hollywood at such a young age and everyone wants a piece of them—it makes me sick,” Anderson explains.

What is happening in the Diddy trial?

The details emerging from this trial are, well, disgusting. Anderson says about the alleged Diddy freakoffs, “It makes me feel so nasty about the things going on there. Diddy is a dirty, dirty bird. These types of guys find the most beautiful girl and do the most disgusting things to them.”

Despite Diddy’s defense, which looks to be pretty expensive, throwing out every excuse in the book, Cavallari suspects there’s something a lot more mischievous to the story. Ugh. For more celebrity gossip, listen to the rest of Let’s Be Honest.
