Scheana Shay and Krystina Arielle Break Down Manifesting, Intuition, and Trusting the Universe
Bernadette Giacomazzo
If you’ve ever stared at the clock on 11:11 and told the universe that you were ready to listen, this Scheananigans’ episode is for you. Host Scheana Shay teams up with Krystina Arielle to compare psychic notes, overthinking signs, and trying to make sense of big life decisions with a bit of help from the woo.
Are you building a life in real time—career, kids, identity, all of it—while still believing that timing, energy, and “gut feelings” matter? You’re allowed to care about your future and ask the universe for a little backup at the same time.
Tapping into 11:11 energy
The episode opens with Shay clocking the date: it’s 11/11, and she immediately wants to know what Krystina is manifesting, and she doesn’t go small with her answer. “I’m manifesting that this year was a building year,” Krystina remarks. “And next year I’ll see the fruits of the work that I put in. And I just want to see my family thrive and be happy and work hard, and yeah, that’s what I’m really excited about.”
Krystina is talking about long-game stability—work that pays off, a family that thrives, and a body and mind that feel well taken care of. To her, she’s already in motion. She just wants the results to catch up.
What psychics, bar exams, and big decisions have in common
The conversation moves to Kim Kardashian and her latest update on the California bar exam. Shay lays out why she finds the whole thing fascinating—not just because Kardashian is studying, but because she’s juggling about five lifetimes’ worth of responsibilities while she’s at it.
“She is doing so much work with prison reform and also studying for the bar exam in her so-called free time,” Shay marvels. “I mean, I don’t know how she does it. I don’t know how she manages to do a quarter of what she does, but somehow she does it all. So zero shame in not passing the bar. I think it’s inspiring that she’s even attempting it.”
Then Shay admits the part that really caught her attention: the psychics. Kardashian had discussed four different intuitive readings telling her she’d pass. That’s where Shay’s curiosity kicks in. “But I’m also wondering, because I am a big believer in psychics, did they tell her that she would pass just in general in the future, or did they say next time you take the bar exam, you will pass?” shea asks.
Krystina, who also loves a good psychic reading, points out that they don’t usually speak in calendar alerts. “Listen, I love a psychic, but I feel like they are also a little more vague than that,” she says. “They’re not really direct about like, on this day, like, this is going to happen.”
When you ask for a sign—and still have to choose
Shay then admits that when she was deciding whether to film for The Valley, she called in for a little bit of psychic backup. “I think I’m scared to know. I’m a big believer in psychics,” she says. “And so when I was coming to the decision of, ‘am I gonna film The Valley, am I not?’ I did consult not one, but two psychics, and they both told me not to do it. That’s not the reason why I didn’t do it.”
Still, she notes that even with the readings, the red flags, and all the information, no one could actually decide for her. “My decision—I was feeling like I was being pushed in one direction, but I needed to go in this direction,” she says. “And so we’ll see if the things they said are gonna happen from me walking away happen.”
It’s okay to ask for guidance, but you still have to live with whatever choice you make. Shay is showing what it looks like to take their input, weigh it against your own instincts, and walk away from something that doesn’t feel aligned—even when there’s pressure to say yes.
Learning to trust your gut (even when it’s weird)
Krystina closes the loop by discussing everyday intuition—the dreams, déjà vu, and gut feelings that don’t always make logical sense but still resonate. “I genuinely believe in people who have intuitive thoughts and things of that nature,” she says. “And I’ve had dreams where stuff happens before it does, and obviously people that believe in déjà vu—I’ve experienced it.”
If your own relationship with intuition looks like a mix of therapy notes, half-burned bay leaves, and a psychic text thread you “don’t really believe in but also can’t quite ignore,” you’re in good company—with Shay, with Krystina, and with pretty much everyone quietly trying to trust themselves a little more.
