Sophie Rain knows people already have a version of her in their heads.

To some, she’s the OnlyFans creator who says she made tens of millions of dollars in her early 20s. To others, she’s the Christian creator whose faith has made her success even more polarizing. And to a whole corner of the internet, she’s still tied to the Bop House, the viral creator collective that turned a group of young women making content together into a full-blown discourse machine.

But on You Wish with Holly Madison, Rain trades the headlines for something a little more personal, opening up about where she came from, what people still get wrong about her and what she wants next. Here are the highlights, adapted from the episode.

Most influencers would buy a mansion. You bought a farm. Why?

“I love it so much. Basically, my grandpa owns 200 acres in North Florida, so I grew up around that lifestyle. He’s been in the cattle industry and that’s kind of what I want to do also. So I bought 20 acres. It’s in Tampa. I currently have seven cattle on it that I work with every single day. And it’s just great. It’s so much fun…

…I have two dogs, Oliver and Willow. I love them so much. They’re mini dachshunds. Bro, they’re the cutest in the world. They’re so spoiled rotten, but I love them. And then I have two goats, Kim and Kanye. I love Kim Kardashian, so I had to name my goats. And then I have my seven cows. I’m really trying to get a donkey right now. I want a donkey so bad…I just love animals. I love being surrounded by them.”

You grew up on food stamps and recently retired your parents. Can you take us back to the start?

“So I was born in Miami. I was raised around Tampa, Florida. And my parents raised me. They were, you know, struggling. I don’t know how else to put it…My parents were in rehab for three years of my childhood. That’s why I’m really close with my grandparents, because I lived with them…We lived on food stamps. My parents were living paycheck to paycheck. I remember being really young, watching them steal food just so we could have supper that night. And now? Me being able to retire them…I’m so thankful.”

People assumed the Bop House was your agency and that you profited off the other creators. What’s the truth?

“I am not making money off the other girls. A lot of people thought it was an agency and I was a manager and pimping out these girls. It was not like that at all. I promise. Me and Aishah [Sofey] sat down, [thought] “What can we do different?” And that’s how that happened. And I don’t make any money off of them. I think the only thing is I’m getting their followers, and they’re getting my followers. And that’s another great part of it, is we were helping each other lift more online. And it was great.”

You use a stage name to protect yourself. How serious have the safety issues gotten?

“I use [Sophie Rain] just to protect myself in real life, because I’ve had so many issues with stalkers breaking in. And I think that’s one of the biggest problems is like, these people online, they’re so parasocial. Like I had someone break into the Bop House thinking that they were married to me…In court he was saying, no, this is my wife, it’s okay that I broke in…He got punished. He lived, not in Florida and this happened in Florida, so they sent him back and he had to do some jail time wherever he was from. I don’t remember where, but ever since then, I haven’t really heard from him.”

Is there any part of your online persona that’s fake?

“Honestly, not really. No. I put everything out there truthfully. I post content with intention…I think maybe the drama is a little dramatized…Most of the time we’re doing fake drama because it gets clicks. People like to see drama, but then it ends up being real drama…Every single time I’ve tried to do fake drama, it’s always turned into real drama. So I’m just not doing that anymore.”

What’s your biggest goal for the rest of the year?

“This year my goal is to buy a private jet…I want to get my dogs wrapped on the outside of it—Oliver on one side and Willow on the other…And then the inside I want pink interior. I want a pink interior plane so bad. But that’s not going to happen this year. But if you set a goal that seems unattainable, you work toward that still and you’re still going to be amazing. You’re going to keep working and pushing yourself harder to reach it, and I’m going to be proud of myself at the end of the year anyways, because I’m like, damn, look at what I did.”
