Gracie Norton’s Chic Life Hacks for Intentional Living

Have you ever seen a woman walk into the room and thought, “She is so chic”? This aesthetic is going viral on TikTok as people share what makes them feel polished and put-together. If you’re looking for inspo, just search #thingsIfindchic on TikTok.

“There’s nothing that creates more confidence and there’s nothing more chic than being yourself,” Wellness Her Way host Gracie Norton explains. “It’s about adding more intention to everyday moments to elevate and romanticize your life a bit.”

A chic life isn’t about having more—it’s about being intentional with less and truly caring for what you already own.

Type B friends, don’t skip this one; it’s for you too. From beauty products to living spaces, fashion to wellness tips, Norton shares how to practice intentional living by incorporating these chic habits into your routine.

Core elements of a chic life

When thinking about becoming more chic, focus on simplicity with impact. Whether in style, wellness, or behavior, Norton explains that it’s about knowing the importance of details. “A lot of times, we think real change comes in big shifts or loud pieces, but in reality, it’s repetition and attention to details,” she says.

One aspect of a chic life is elegance in behavior. This means not allowing other people’s insignificant actions to affect your mood. It’s about self-awareness. The second aspect focuses on health and wellness, viewing it as a lifestyle rather than a chore.

“Acknowledge that your body is your home that you live in forever and lean into consistency and discipline over motivation,” Norton adds.

When it comes to fashion, prioritize timelessness over trendiness. While trends come and go, living a chic life means having your signature statement pieces and staying in your own lane.

Cultivating inner chicness

The foundation of inner chicness includes hygiene, personal care, behavior, mindset, and wellness. It sounds like a lot at first, but with intentionality, these practices become second nature. Inner chicness means feeling your best through glowing skin, hydrated lips, a signature scent, styled hair, and well-maintained nails.

Norton prioritizes hygiene and personal care because it transforms how she feels about herself. For moisturized skin, Norton uses a Primally Pure dry brush to exfoliate dead skin and help increase blood flow. She also uses the Osea Salts of the Earth Body Scrub to moisturize and hydrate her skin. After a warm shower, she lathers on Osea Undaria Algae™ Body Oil while still in the shower for maximum hydration. For added moisture and a dewy glow, she mixes the Primally Pure body butter with the Kosas Glow IV skin illuminating enhancer.

Norton is particularly careful about lip care (as she is prone to cold sores). She uses a Primally Pure lip polish scrub to remove dead skin and applies Primally Pure lip oil before bed.

Since she typically prioritizes her wellness and fitness routine, Norton has been focusing more on her hair care lately. Her mom’s best friend’s advice still resonates: “If your hair looks good, then you look good.”

Norton’s hair care routine includes oiling her hair before wash day with the Amazing Hair Saviour Natural Hair Oil. She does a double shampoo in the shower to remove the product and then follows with conditioner. She brushes her hair each night before bed. For styling, she uses hot tools like the Drybar Wrap Party Wand or, for natural waves, she combines Ouai Wave Spray, Drybar Triple Sec Finishing Spray, and the Living Proof Curl Cream.

Intentional living routine

Outward chicness is about your environment. According to Norton, curating your space means creating a sanctuary that recharges you rather than stressing you out. One simple tip: Clear your space before the end of the day. It’s almost like locking up an office for the night. Her non-negotiables include wiping down countertops, putting away the dishes, and lighting a candle for a fresh scent.

“If I have a cluttered space before bed, it makes it harder for me to fall asleep. I wake up stressed because it’s the first thing I see in the morning,” Norton says. To tidy up while enjoying the process, she’ll turn on a podcast or a playlist, sip on Nite Nectar, and lights a candle.

Why does this matter? Norton explains that living intentionally helps you feel at home in your space and regulates your nervous system. “There’s already so many things happening in a day that are out of our control. If we come home and are in a state of stress, our body never has a chance to calm down,” she says.

Other tips for feeling safe and centered in your space include getting rid of clutter and donating often. Outward chicness also encompasses small intentions and habits, like having crisp, clean sheets for a luxurious bedtime experience.

Finally, commit to staple habits in your morning and evening routines: tongue scraping, flossing, movement, and drinking soothing beverages like bone broth or lymphatic tea.
