Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are basking in the glorious days of summer. Rumor has it, they’ve reached “a turning point” in their relationship. 

As per a source for People, the two lovebirds have reached a new stage of their three-year relationship. “It’s been a turning point for their relationship in a lot of ways,” the source tells People. “They’re incredibly happy and in sync. There’s a calmness and ease to their relationship right now that’s been really grounding for Taylor and Travis.” 

While the paparazzi remain eager to capture a shot of the Grammy winner and the Super Bowl champion, lately, mum’s the word for these two. Is the quiet a sign of another celebrity couple crashing and burning, or does it indicate they’re headed in the right direction? Here’s what you need to know about the celebrity couple and their quiet summer.

Swift and Kelce are at a ‘turning point’

Since their made-for-TV romance began in 2023, Swift and Kelce have been inundated with media frenzy. 2024 and 2025 have been big years for the pair. The 14-time Grammy winner wrapped her Eras Tour in December 2024 and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end finished his NFL season in February 2025 with a 22-40 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the 59th Super Bowl.

With all headlines swirling about the Lively-Baldoni lawsuit, record-breaking tours, and Swift buying back her masters—Swift and Kelce have been keeping their relationship quiet. However, the source at People says Swift is grateful to have Kelce by her side during the career-defining moment of regaining control of her music catalog. “Having Travis by her side for that milestone made it even more special,” the source tells People. “He was honored to support her and he wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.”

Here’s a glimpse of what the two superstars have been up to lately in their very low-key romance. 

Sweet time in Music City 

Swift and Kelce are splitting their time between New York, Nashville, and a few quieter getaways. “Taylor and Travis are soaking up every minute of this slower season together,” the source continues. “…just enjoying each other’s company without all the usual chaos. This kind of downtime is rare for both of them, and it’s really allowed their bond to deepen,” they reveal.

The couple spent time in Nashville—where Swift first got her big break in 2006—spending time with Swift’s family and close friends. Paparazzi caught a couple of shots of Swift and Kelce on a double date with the singer’s childhood best friend, Abigail Anderson, and her husband, Charles Berard. The date night took place at the Tight End University party at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville. Fans shared videos of the couple entering the venue on X. 

Date night in NYC 

The couple has also been spotted frolicking in New York City for a few date nights. Fans, of course, captured the moment of Kelce walking around the car to escort Swift to the restaurant. Very gentlemanly. 

One of the last times the couple was photographed in a similar pose—smiling and holding hands in NYC—they were on their way to a date night with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. Since Lively’s lawsuit with her co-star, Justin Baldoni, the jury is still out on whether there is bad blood between Swift and Lively after the latter dragged Swift into her It Ends With Us lawsuit. 

Swift and Kelce are all smiles at a hockey game in Florida 

Swift and Kelce were also spotted enjoying a hockey game at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, FL, on June 12. They watched the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers square off during Game 4 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final. The Oilers ultimately won with a close score of 5-4 over the Panthers. 

Their attendance at the Florida arena game coincides with Kelce’s time training for the upcoming NFL season in Miami. As they relish in the calm of summer, sources say Swift is looking forward to the upcoming NFL season. She’ll be cheering on Kelce as he plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. “Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she’s not juggling a packed tour schedule,” the source told People.
