If there’s one thing Lauryn Bosstick knows how to do, it’s give us the real, unfiltered, no-BS take on everything from beauty to business. And now? She’s dishing all things pregnancy. That’s right, another Skinny Confidential baby is on the way, and Lauryn just shared all about it on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast.

In true Lauryn fashion, she’s giving us her hot takes, her routine, and the inside scoop on how she’s prepping for baby number three. But before we get into it, let’s be clear: Every pregnancy is different, and what works for Lauryn might not work for you. Always check with your doctor before starting any regimen.

Pre-Prenatal Care: Setting the Stage Before Baby

One of the biggest takeaways from Lauryn’s episode is that pre-prenatal care is just as important as what you do during pregnancy. “When I decided I was ready to have a baby… I seriously meditated and thought about it in a way where I said, ‘My womb is healthy. I’m ready to have a baby. I’m open to having a baby,’” Lauryn explains.

Translation? Your mindset and body must be prepped before you even start trying. That means nourishing yourself with the right foods (hello, beef liver and Greek yogurt), getting your hormones in check, and—yes—being mindful of how you talk to yourself. “Your inner narrative is a reflection of who you are and what you become,” Lauryn preaches.

How Lauryn’s Preparing for Birth: Meditation, Movement & Mindset

By baby number three, Lauryn has her routine down. “With this one, I don’t want to consume tons of content. I don’t want a doula,” she says. “I kind of want to just listen to my intuition.”

Here’s what her daily prep looks like:

  • Meditation and Affirmations: “Every morning, I meditate for 30 minutes… I have a red light panel over my face, put my legs up on the wall, and do a 30-minute meditation,” she shares. It’s all about visualizing a smooth, healthy birth and postpartum period.
  • Daily Movement: “I’m working out every single day,” Lauryn insists. Whether it’s weightlifting, Pilates, or her signature walks on walks on walks, she’s all about keeping her body moving.
  • Nutrition (With Some Fun Treats): Lauryn swears by her protein-packed diet (lots of meat and organs), but she’s also indulging in sour candies and chocolate chip bagels with whipped cream cheese. Balance, right?

The Controversial Pregnancy Takes

Lauryn is nothing if not honest about what she does and doesn’t do during pregnancy, and let’s just say some of it might not be doctor-approved for everyone.

“I drink raw milk every single day,” she says. “I also eat sushi, I have oysters, and sometimes I’ll have a few sips of wine.” Before you clutch your pearls, she clarified that she consults with her doctor about these choices.

Her take on mindset and fertility is equally bold: “If I told myself, ‘Oh my God, I can’t get pregnant,’ I don’t think I would have gotten pregnant on the first try,” she shares. She credits You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay as a game-changer for manifesting pregnancy and life in general.

Lauryn’s Pregnancy Staples: From Mouth Tape to Lymphatic Massages

Lauryn swears by mouth-taping during sleep. “It’s changed my life,” she says. “I wake up with so much more energy… My sleep is amazing.”

Her other wellness essentials include:

  • Dry brushing: “Especially for cellulite when I’m pregnant.”
  • Lymphatic massages: “Brazilicious in Austin is my go-to.”
  • Foot spas and acupuncture: For managing pregnancy fatigue and overall wellness.

Find What Works for You

Lauryn’s pregnancy journey combines intuition, research, and unapologetically doing what feels right for her. And if there’s one thing she wants her listeners to take away, it’s to trust yourself. “Everyone is unique. You’ve got to be your own advocate,” she says.

So whether you’re pregnant, trying to conceive, or just here for wellness tips, Lauryn has some gems to offer. Remember to take what works, leave what doesn’t, and always check with your doctor before trying anything new.
