The Traitors, Peacock’s wildly addictive game of cloak-and-dagger deception, just unveiled the 23 famous faces headed to Alan Cumming’s Scottish castle, and reality TV devotees are barely able to contain themselves.

Season four’s lineup reads like the most fabulous mash-up party ever thrown, blending Survivor strategists, Olympic legends, and yes, a full Bravo-versus-everyone cage match. NBCUniversal renewed the series for two more seasons last year, keeping its January premiere tradition alive. If history repeats itself, expect fresh episodes to drop in early 2026.

The Housewives have arrived

Two names immediately set the DM Slack channel ablaze: Lisa Rinna and Caroline Stanbury. Both are bona-fide Housewives and members of the Dear Media family, which means every snarky confession could double as podcast gold.

Rinna, fresh off RHOBH and cohosting Let’s Not Talk About The Husband with Harry Hamlin, is famous for owning it, baby. Stanbury, the quick-wit queen of Uncut & Uncensored with Caroline Stanbury and RHODubai, calls the shots with unapologetic flair. Their presence virtually guarantees theatrical speeches at the round table and viral-ready sound bites.

Meet the traitors (and faithfuls) poised to cause chaos

Beyond the Dear Media duo, the cast is stacked with competition heavyweights

Dancing with the Stars triple champ Mark Ballas, Top Chef winner-turned-host Kristen Kish, Big Brother masterminds Ian Terry and Tiffany Mitchell, and Survivor champ Yam Yam Arocho all know how to spot a silent assassin.

There’s plenty of Housewives drama to go around, too, with Candiace Dillard Bassett (from RHOPotomac), Dorinda Medley (RHONY), and Porsha Williams (RHOA) sure to bring their fair share of face and drama. Other Bravo-lebrities not part of the Housewives universe include Maura Higgins and Rob Rausch (Love Island) and Kristen Kish (Top Chef).

RuPaul’s Drag Race icon Monét X Change, Laguna Beach heartthrob Stephen Colletti, Bachelor-turned-LGBTQIA+ advocate Colton Underwood, and comedian Michael Rapaport round out a truly bonkers roster.

Even NFL mom Donna Kelce (Travis and Jason’s mom and Taylor Swift’s potential mama-in-law) is trading Super Bowl celebrations for castle banishments, further proving that anyone can be a traitor with the right poker face.

How Rinna and Stanbury could flip the game

Rinna’s years of soap opera face work (yes, this is a Billie Reed stan page!) mean she can fake sincerity on demand, while Stanbury’s business-shark instincts make her lethal in any negotiation. If one or both draw the coveted “Traitor” tile, picture whispered alliances over Château kitchen counters and an entire fandom dissecting eyebrow twitches frame-by-frame.

But even as Faithfuls, their podcast-honed storytelling skills allow them to steer round-table narratives, planting seeds of doubt faster than you can say “Rinna Wines.

Why Peacock’s hit keeps shattering streaming records

Since debuting in 2023, The Traitors has raked in Emmys and the title of Peacock’s most-watched unscripted series. It’s simple genius: combine a murder-mystery party with reality TV’s biggest egos, then lock everyone in a gothic estate dripping in candlelight. Viewers play armchair detective while contestants crumble under paranoia—catnip for TikTok analysts and Sunday-night group chats. Season three’s prize pot hit $204,300, shared among four Faithfuls; season four ups the ante to a cool quarter-million, ensuring betrayal stings even more.

When—and where—to catch every dramatic confession

Peacock hasn’t revealed an exact premiere day, but previous January drops make an early-2026 launch a safe bet. Episodes typically roll out weekly, so mark your calendars for eight to ten adrenaline-fueled Fridays of cloak drama. All three earlier seasons are currently streaming, offering the perfect crash course on shield twists, dagger reveals, and the dreaded fire-pit banishment. Pro tip: rewatch Stanbury’s Dubai one-liners and Rinna’s “own it” mantra beforehand to appreciate their castle comebacks.

The Traitors thrives on spectacle, and season four’s casting directors clearly raided every corner of pop culture to max out shock value. Grab the popcorn, silence the group chat notifications, and cue the castle bell—because when The Traitors returns, we’ll all be screaming, crying, and throwing up (in the best way).
