Let’s Pour One Out for the Celebrity Splits of 2025 So Far

Queue up the power ballads and pass the prosecco. The year isn’t even over, and celebrity splits of 2025 are piling up faster than VIP wristbands at Coachella.

Headlining the heartbreak? Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom. The pop queen and the Legolas of our dreams finally pulled the plug on their nine-year love story. Insiders claim the breakup is “amicable,” but both stars privately admit there’s no rewinding of this romance.

Love in 2025 feels as fragile as a celebrity NDA—one leak and the whole thing unravels. If history teaches anything, the following awards season will roll out fresh red carpet duos, and the cycle of coupling, ring-flashing, and splitting will start anew. Until then, let’s keep pouring one out for every headline-grabbing heartache on this list—and brace for round two before New Year’s Eve rolls around.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson call it quits

Simpson confirms that she and Johnson “have been living separately, navigating a painful situation,” stressing that their three kids (Maxwell Drew (born in 2012), Ace Knute (born in 2013), and Birdie Mae (born in 2019)) come first while she preps her next big music era. The former NFL tight end just listed their L.A. mansion for a cool $17.9 million, making the breakup feel very real—and very pricey.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren separate

Sixteen years, three kids, one Honest empire—yet Alba admits the spark fizzled. Friends insist there’s “no hateful drama,” only two business-savvy parents figuring out joint custody and fresh starts. The pair share Honor Marie (born in 2008), Haven Garner (born in 2011), and Hayes (born in 2017).

Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson go their own way

Eight years of on-again, off-again bliss met its final encore in June. Johnson ditches the engagement ring and starts hanging out with Pedro Pascal (which, honestly, we understand); Martin plugs her upcoming film from the Coldplay stage, proving celebrity splits can still come with encore shout-outs and mutual respect.

Dermot Mulroney and Prima Apollinaare divorce

After nearly 15 years and two daughters together, Mulroney files the papers. The Chicago Fire star knows timing is everything—just apparently not eternal when it comes to matrimony (and, incidentally, he’s asking his wife for spousal support). The pair share two daughters—Mabel Ray, born in 2008, and Sally, born in 2009. Mulroney also has a son, Clyde (born in 1999), from his previous marriage to Catherine Keener.

Lilly Ghalichi and Dara Mir end the on-off saga

The Shahs of Sunset alum hits “file” again three years after baby No. 2 and several make-ups with husband Dara Mir. If the third time’s the charm, so is permanently single. The pair share Alara, born in 2018, and Kashton, born in 2022.

Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa split after The Bachelor finale

Ellis tells fans their love was “meaningful,” just not forever. Translation: paradise ended once the cameras packed up—and viewers can stop stalking their joint Instagram lives.

Scott and Kelley Wolf close the book

This is one of those celebrity splits that seemed to come out of left field. After 21 years, three kids, and one heartfelt Instagram essay, the Party of Five star and his lifestyle blogger wife chose to part ways. Kelley writes that the journey was “rooted in hope, patience, and care”—right before the allegations of abuse began surfacing.

Sasha Farber and Jenn Tran dance separate routines

Paired on DWTS, rumors swirled, feelings sparked, and now the partnership is “very good friends” territory. At least they’ll always have that perfect rumba score.

Matt Bolton and Colleen Reed push pause

The Love Is Blind alums announce they’ve been separated “for some time,” reminding us that while the pods may foster love, real life still demands Wi-Fi and compromise.

Dorit and PK Kemsley finalize the drama

A public smooch with another woman (who also happens to be Ryan Seacrest’s ex) and—boom—Dorit files for divorce a day later, seeking sole custody of the pair’s two children (Jagger and Phoenix) plus spousal support. Real Housewives cameras couldn’t script these celebrity splits better.

Holly Madison and Zak Bagans call it “off for good”

Madison breaks the news on her Girls Next Level podcast, revealing five-and-a-half years of a “very off and on” relationship (that also, apparently, involved a lot of cheating on his part). Ghosts aren’t the only things haunting Bagans now.

Jonathan Davino and Sydney Sweeney shelve the wedding

Sweeney would rather juggle blockbuster shoots and a bizarre Dr. Squatch partnership than a bridal registry, sources say. Love isn’t dead—she just “wasn’t ready to settle down.”

Sia and Dan Bernard hit irreconcilable notes

The powerhouse songwriter cites “irreconcilable differences,” but their secret baby, Somersault Wonder, ensures the exes will be duetting on co-parenting for years.

Quinta Brunson and Kevin Jay Anik part professionally and personally

The Abbott Elementary creator filed in March, proving even Emmy winners can’t write the perfect ending every time.

Emily Osment and Jack Anthony exit after a five-month marriage

Filed in early 2025, the separation dated back to December, barely two months after the wedding. That’s shorter than a Hannah Montana rerun block.

Charlotte Flair and Andrade El Idolo pin down their divorce

Two wrestling titans split after two years of marriage. TMZ counts this as a clean fall—no chair shots needed.

James Kennedy and Ally Lewber end the drama

Lewber requests empathy and “no criminal charges” after Kennedy’s December dispute. She supports his sobriety from afar and leaves the SUR drama behind.

Austin Butler and Kaia Gerber walk away

The Elvis star and the runway darling quietly exit stage left after three years, proving not all love stories get a Vegas residency.

David Harbour and Lily Allen turn out the lights

Allen hinted at trouble on her podcast; Harbour’s ringless finger finished the story. Insiders say the split had been “crumbling” for months.

Naomi Osaka and Cordae choose different courts

Osaka’s Instagram confirms the breakup but calls Cordae “an awesome dad” to daughter Shai. She credits the relationship for personal growth—a gold medal in maturity unlocked.

Over 50 & Flourishing
Welcome to Over 50 & Flourishing, the show for any woman who feels like she lost her compass in the sea of midlife. I’m here to tell you it’s never too late to change your course and awaken the healthy, wise, and wonderful woman within. My name is Dominique Sachse, and I love to ask questions, which was why I spent nearly three decades of my life in the TV news business. I also started a YouTube channel in 2014 to connect intimately with my community, and I took an even deeper dive in my book Life Makeover - Embrace The Bold, Beautiful and Blessed You. I’ll be the first to say, I’ve made mistakes, and I’m not afraid to be vulnerable and learn from them. I mean let’s face it, this stage of life can be complicated. Children are moving out, relationships are being examined, our parents are aging, and we’re having to manage all of this along with our menopause! It’s easy to lose sight of ourselves, but can I just say.. we matter. So, whether it’s finding ways to enhance and celebrate our own beauty, taking bold steps toward living our best life in the second half of life, finding ways to be healthier, happier, and more spiritually connected, I will bring you thinkers and innovators who share the same passion of flushing out these ideas. It’s my goal to leave us all feeling inspired, thought and intent-driven, and with a sense of purpose in whatever we pursue. Let’s celebrate growing older together and embrace our Prime. It’s our time!
