Olivia Culpo just promoted herself from Miss Universe alum to full-time mom—and her big sister, Barely Filtered host Aurora Culpo, is already flexing her new auntie status.
According to The New York Post, Culpo and San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey introduced baby Colette Annalise McCaffrey to the world, sprinkling Instagram with black-and-white hospital snaps.
The moment caps a whirlwind 16 months for the couple—an ultra-lux Rhode Island wedding, a headline-grabbing pregnancy reveal, and now the tiniest teammate on the roster. Culpo called childbirth “the scariest, most rewarding experience,” according to The Cut, while McCaffrey, beaming at the bassinet, landed an early nomination for Rookie Dad of the Year.
And yes, if you’re into astrology, Colette’s July 13 arrival officially makes her a Cancer. We’ll leave it to The Balanced Blonde to do a deeper dive on her full astrological chart, however.
Culpo, 33, and McCaffrey, 29, kept the labor room play-by-play short and sweet; no official birthweight or delivery suite playlist. What we do know is that Colette arrived healthy, the new mom looked suspiciously camera-ready, and the NFL star never let go of her hand.
It’s a milestone that Olivia Culpo once worried she might never reach. Back in March, she revealed a rough first trimester complete with pneumonia and a subchorionic hematoma that forced several weeks of bed rest. “I was bleeding everywhere…but there was still a heartbeat,” Culpo recalled at the time.
Fans have been following this romance since the duo’s soft launch in 2019. McCaffrey’s sunset proposal on Lake Como made waves in April 2023, and their Watch Hill Chapel “I do’s”—complete with Ocean House reception and 50,000 imported white roses—set the bar for unions everywhere. Culpo later told Vogue she wanted the weekend to “include the gravitas of the moment,” and you could practically hear Pinterest boards exploding.
On McCaffrey’s side, 2024 was bittersweet: his first Super Bowl appearance, followed by an injury-marred season. Now, while the 49ers star rehabs for a bounce-back year, he’s also knee-deep in burp cloths.
Of course, a Culpo family headline isn’t complete without a little sisterly spice. In early May, Aurora told Gia Giudice’s Casual Chaos podcast that she and Olivia Culpo got into a “massive fight” when she skipped a Denver baby sprinkle that coincided with her own birthday. “She lost it on us, saying we’re the worst sisters,” Aurora admitted, while waving screenshots of Olivia’s earlier “don’t worry about coming” text for proof.
Aurora, 35, insisted that travel fatigue and exhaustion as a mom of two—not shade—kept her away. Younger sister Sophia Culpo, however, also bailed, prompting Olivia to grumble that the bar for sisterly support “couldn’t be lower.” As Aurora recounted, Olivia’s third trimester hormones were “very pregnant and emotional,” but she predicted her sibling would “get over it” once the baby arrived.
By late May, the Rhode Island baby shower snapped the trio side-by-side, and Aurora confirmed the rift with Olivia had healed, though Sophia was still on a communication timeout.
If Colette’s debut teaches us anything, it’s that new life has a way of rewriting family scripts. The Culpo sisters built an entire TLC reality show on tight-knit bonds, so betting against a reunion feels silly, particularly when a fresh baby smell is involved.
Meanwhile, Olivia adjusts to postpartum recovery, McCaffrey dives into diaper duty between training camp reps, and Aurora is enjoying the auntie life. The Barely Filtered listeners can probably expect nipple cream reviews and stroller-friendly Pilates chatter any minute.
Welcome to the world, Colette Annalise. The glam life starts now.
