In the first solo episode of the new season of Khloé in Wonder Land, Khloé sets the record straight. She clears the air on her relationship status and why she isn’t dating Scott, her sister Kourtney Kardashian’s ex.

The speculation stemmed from throwback videos and an eyebrow-raising teaser. In the podcast episode, she shared that Scott was just as confused about why people thought they were dating.

“I actually sent it to Scott, and I was like, ‘Did you know that people think you and I are dating again?'” she recalled. “Why? Where did this come from?” Scott questioned.

When Khloé addresses the Scott Disick rumors, she keeps it blunt. “No, we’re not a couple,” she clarified, debunking the Khloé Kardashian and Scott Disick dating rumors.

She says the two of them laugh about it more than anything, and they don’t really care.

Where the Rumors Started

Khloé has no idea where the rumors came from. According to Khloé, the Scott Disick dating rumors stem from “old stuff.” There’s no new footage and no secret dates. It’s a recycled theory with a fresh coat of paint.

The only new piece of content she suspects fueled the speculation is the Hulu teaser for The Kardashians. In the trailer for Season 8, Khloé is heard saying, “So, are we having a baby together or…?” to Scott. The season premiered October 8 on Hulu.

The teaser doesn’t provide any context as to when the comment was made. Khloé figured viewers would be clued in. “I thought people would know that that obviously is editing.” (Spoiler: people didn’t know that.)

Why Khloé Says It Will Never Happen

When it comes to why Khloé says it will never happen, she gives two reasons.

First, Scott is the dad to her sister Kourtney’s children, Mason Disick, Penelope Disick, and Reign Disick. He and Kourtney co-parent the three kids, so dating him would scramble the whole Kardashian family tree. “This is your stepdad who’s also your uncle. Like, what? No, that doesn’t happen.”

Second, the reality star considers Scott “like my real legit brother.” So to her, the idea of them getting together is “weird.”

As for the future? Sure, she admits that’s probably happened to someone in history. “But it’s not going to happen here,” Khloé said flatly.

Khloé and Scott Have Joked About This for Years

This isn’t the first time rumors have swirled that Khloé and Scott are secretly dating, either. In fact, they’ve joked about it for years, mostly because the idea is so ridiculous.

When speculation first picked up, the reality stars leaned into it, cracking each other up in the process. “We would go out in paparazzi and like hold hands. We would do that on purpose.”

But the star insists her sister Kourtney was actually present during these outings. It was a bit.

These days, they just treat each new wave as a running joke. “Oh my gosh, we’re on and popping again.” As for now? Khloé and Scott are friends, that’s all. (Fun fact: Scott was even her first-ever podcast guest.)

Why This Round of Rumors Felt Different

Khloé thinks the comments section got way more intense during this round of rumors because TikTok has gotten so influential. The app wasn’t a thing when the rumors first started.

As for recent comments on TikTok, Khloé said many were less-than-kind. “I can’t believe you would do that to Kourtney,” one commenter wrote. That prompted Khloé to ask, “What did I do?” She even had to figure out what she supposedly did to Kourtney. It turns out people thought she was sleeping with Scott.

Later, she touched on the negativity she faced after The Kardashians debuted a season opener focused on AI. The opener’s point was that AI could never replace them. She thought the opener was “a really cool, fresh, modern” idea, so the backlash annoyed her. That point was about the show, not the rumors, but it fits here. 

She’s bothered by people forming opinions from short clips. “Someone watches something for 3 seconds and then comments.” That, she added, is “exactly what is wrong with the world these days.”

Where Khloé and Kourtney Stand Today

Although the remarks would imply that the sisters are at odds, Khloé maintains that their relationship is wonderful. This is what she stated regarding the current relationship between Khloé and Kourtney. “I talk to her often. I mean, it’s my sister.” There’s “absolutely no beef.”

They’re all simply busy taking care of their own family matters, Khloé continued. It doesn’t make sense to think that a recycled rumor could separate them.

How Khloé Felt About Scott in the Early Seasons

A fan question brought up Khloé and Scott in the early seasons, specifically the spin-off Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami. Back then, Khloé notoriously couldn’t stand Scott. It’s a great reminder of how far their relationship has come.

The fan asked how she learned to let go of control. Khloé reflected on her younger self’s frustrations with Kourtney and Scott’s relationship. “I think I wanted Kourtney to see what I saw so much. I was like shaking her.” She admitted it consumed her. She says that might just come with age, and caring that much about people you love isn’t a bad thing.

“But the older you get, you just learn that you have to let people do them,” she added. Pushing someone to move on early won’t speed it up. Khloé, who now considers Scott her brother, said you have to “genuinely be okay to let go of something.”

Is Khloé Dating Anyone Right Now?

As for whether or not Khloé is currently dating anyone, the answer is no, by choice. She says she has no desire to date right now. Explaining why Khloé isn’t dating, she said she’s intentionally focusing her energy elsewhere.

“I want to run towards my kids,” she said, referring to True Thompson and her son, Tatum. She’d rather spend her time on Disneyland trips and pumpkin parties. She wants to be a present mom during this very short time in their lives. Right now, she says she’s probably the happiest she’s felt in a really long time, and the safest. She also feels “the most at peace.”

When she does want a partner, she says she’ll go find one. But she isn’t searching for a man “to make everyone else feel comfortable.” As she sees it, her single life isn’t bothering her. “It just seems like it’s bothering every other person on the planet.” As she put it, “I’m great. I pay my bills.”
